Call out for New Board Members!

Want to get more involved in the Kamloops Cycling Community?  The KBRA board is currently recruiting new board members to fill vacant positions for the 2018 season.  We ask that all nominations or expressions of interest be submitted by November 1st, 2017 via e-mail:

Our Mission

As a board of Directors we strive together with local businesses & organizations, to champion community initiatives that grow, both the sport and the trail networks, within Kamloops and the surrounding area.

Young, Old, Weekend Warrior or Avid Ultra Mountain Cyclist.  Whoever you are, whatever or however long you have or haven't been riding, come out!  The events we champion are geared towards gathering diverse groups, from complete rookies to well, Olympians even.

Place the interests of local Mountain Bikers into the spotlight, acting as a community presence for the sport.

We like bikes, you like bikes...who doesn't like bikes?  Only weirdos, probably most Trump Supporters and Rob Ford.  So just be cool, and help make the world a better place by getting more people out on bikes.  That's the idea here, we hope to bring together anyone & everyone who wants a stake in the local cycling community, making events, trails and the overall community bigger & better.

Whether it is through word or action, we want to protect and expand the sanctioned trail systems within and nearby Kamloops.  This can range from initiatives taken in the form of organized trail days, new/ongoing managements agreements & any other means of voicing support for new/continued use of trail systems.
