WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to RUN THE KBRA KIDS LEAGUE
The core volunteer team that has done a fantastic job running the Kids League program is ready to pass the torch to a new group of enthusiastic volunteers to fill essential roles that keep the KBRA Kids League running.
Chris Martin will continue as Head Coach and Race Day Lead for 2025. If you're interested in joining the team, click the button below for more details on available positions. KBRA Kids League 2025 - 80 Spots Available

The KBRA Kids League is an inclusive, supportive, and fun program designed to introduce kids/youth (ages 7 to 12) to the sport of cross-country mountain bike racing. With the support of our fully certified volunteer coaching staff, riders are taught the basics of mountain biking in a controlled environment, ensuring they have mastered the fundamentals before hitting the race course. On race days, our focus is all about FUN! We set up our races to match the ability levels of our riders, giving them a taste of the competitive side of mountain biking. These family-friendly events leave riders with a sense of accomplishment and a huge smile on their faces! Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind program!
For children aged 7–12 (turning this age in 2025)
KBRA Membership included ($20.00 value). Parents can purchase a Family Membership or Single Membership separately.
Includes 3 coaching clinics with certified coaches, 2 fun races, a jersey, and prizes.
Total spots: 80 (8 groups of 10 riders)

Riders ages 10, 11, and 12: Fridays — May 2, 9, and 16

KBRA Teen League 2025 - Maximum of 10 Teens

The KBRA Teen League is an inclusive, cross-country-based mountain bike program designed for teens who have "aged out" of the KBRA Kids League or are interested in continuing their riding progression. This BLUE (intermediate) level program will be led by our certified volunteer coaches and will take place on Mondays in June.
For teens aged 13, 14, and 15 (turning these ages in 2025)
KBRA Membership included ($20.00 value). Parents can purchase either a Family Membership or a Single Membership separately.
Includes 5 events, coaching, jersey, and prizes
Riders should be comfortable on BLUE trails and able to ride between 10 km and 15 km.
This program is NOT:
For downhill (DH) riding.
For jumping.
For advanced or expert riders.
2025 Event Information
Time: All events from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Dates: Mondays — June 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30
Locations: Lac Du Bois, Pineview, Kenna Cartwright, and Kamloops Bike Ranch. Full details will be announced on our KBRA Facebook and Instragram page prior to each event.
