Open Board Positions
President
The President provides strategic leadership and governance for the KBRA, ensuring the organization operates effectively while fostering strong relationships with community partners, land managers, government agencies, and the mountain biking community. The President oversees organizational planning, represents the KBRA in external partnerships, and supports initiatives that further the association's mission.
Treasurer
The Treasurer manages the society’s finances by tracking income and expenses, maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, and providing financial reports to the board. The Treasurer helps ensure responsible financial management and accountability.
Secretary
The Secretary plays an important role in helping the KBRA Board stay organized, meetings run smoothly, and key decisions and action items documented. The Secretary’s main duties include preparing agendas for Board meetings, taking and sharing minutes, tracking action items, and maintaining important KBRA records and documents.
Merch & sponsorship
The Sponsorship & Merch Director helps secure in-kind prizing for the KBRA and coordinates merch pickups from their home. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with local businesses, has strong attention to detail, and doesn’t mind a good chat when a member comes to pick up their KBRA socks, toque, or saddle.
