The KBRA Kids League is an inclusive, supportive, and fun program designed to introduce kids/youth (ages 7 to 12) to the sport of cross-country mountain bike racing. With the support of our fully certified volunteer coaching staff, riders are taught the basics of mountain biking in a controlled environment ensuring that riders have the basics down before they hit the race course. On our race days, our focus is all about FUN! We set up our races to meet the ability levels of our riders and give them a taste of the competitive side of mountain biking. These family-friendly events have riders leaving with a sense of accomplishment and a huge smile on their faces! Do not miss out on this one-of-a-kind program!

• Children aged 7-12 (turning this age in 2024)

• KBRA Membership is included ($20.00 value). Parents can either purchase a Family Membership or Single Membership separately.

• 3 coaching clinics with certified coaches, 2 fun races, jersey, and prizes

2024 Event Information

• Riders age 7, 8 and 9 coaching clinics will be on Mondays-   April 15th, 22nd and 29th

• Riders age 10, 11 and 12 coaching clinics will be on Fridays- April 19th, 26th and May 3rd

• All riders will race on May 6th and May 10th

• Time: All events 5:00pm-7:00pm

• Location will be at Dufferin Bike Skills Park

KBRA Teen League 2024 - Maximum of 8 Teens

The KBRA TEEN League is an inclusive, X/C based mountain bike program designed for those teens who "aged out" of the KBRA Kids League or may be interested in continuing their riding progression. This BLUE (intermediate) level program will be led by our certified, volunteer coaches and take place on Wednesdays in May and June in conjunction with our KBRA community group rides.

• Children aged 13, 14 and 15 (turning these ages in 2024)

• KBRA Membership is included ($20.00 value). Parents can either purchase a Family Membership or Single Membership separately.

• 5 Events, coaching, jersey and prizes.

• Riders should be comfortable on BLUE trails and be able to ride between 10km to 15km.

• This program is not: DH, jumping or for advanced/expert riders.

2024 Event Information

• Time: All events 6:00pm-7:30pm

• Dates: May 27, June 3, June 10, June 17, and June 24 (Mondays)

• Locations will include: Lac Du Bois, Pineview, Kenna Cartwright and Kamloops Bike Ranch. All info will be announced on our KBRA Teen League facebook page prior to the events.

• Please note that the KBRA Kids League will be following all provincial and regional health protocols/policies. These protocols/policies are dynamic and more information will be distributed closer to the date of our first event.

• All riders are required to have: certified helmet, backpack, water, snack, tube, multi-tool and tire levers.
